The World in Color: An Art History Series by Sean Crum In-Person
Discover the rich artistic and spiritual traditions of the Northern Indigenous peoples, including the Inuit, Yup'ik, Tlingit, and Haida. This captivating lecture explores totem poles, Potlatch ceremonies, Hamatsa dances, and a mysterious pantheon of spirits. Led by Sean Crum, an award-winning artist and retired educator with nearly 40 years of experience, this program offers a deep dive into the symbolic and ceremonial art of these northern cultures.
